What is a Test payment?
Step-by-step guide to creating a test payment
Last updated
Test payment is a simulated transaction created in a test environment to verify that payment flows, integrations, and system behaviour work correctly.
The process of creating a Test payment differs slightly from the standard flow. Its main purpose is to verify that the system functions correctly, ensuring features such as payment processing, notifications, and error handling work as expected. Since no real funds are involved, the test mode provides a safe environment to simulate and evaluate different scenarios.
Go to Checkouts.
The system automatically creates a Default Checkout, so you do not need to create another one at this stage.
Click Default Checkout, then activate Test mode by switching on the toggle in the top-right corner of the page to use the Test methods.
Go to the Methods tab and choose the Test methods that should be represented at Checkout.
After creating a Payment Request, the system redirects you to Transactions.

Сhoose the Test Payment method you want to use.
